Working With At-Risk Youth: Dual Diagnosis Program

Project Description:
Looking for an opportunity to work with at-risk youth and help make a difference in their lives? SAY San Diego has an excellent opportunity for volunteers to work with groups of youth who are currently incarcerated or in transition from incarceration. The Dual Diagnosis program provides these youths with educational groups that teach them skills and information to help prevent re-offending. Volunteers will have the opportunity to shadow a Group Worker running these groups as well as assist them with clerical work. This program is in the Linda Vista/Serra Messa, San Diego area.
