Needed: Adult ESL Teacher

Project Description:
MASA-MexEd Inc. provides after-school and mentorship services to elementary- and middle-school students of Mexican descent living in or near the South Bronx. We also offer to services to parents, including ESL courses, financial literacy workshops, and workshops focused on navigating the NYC public school system. The organization relies heavily on the support of volunteers to serve the varied needs of students involved in the program. We are currently seeking volunteers to lead a small, informal ESL course with parents of students enrolled in MASA-MexEd's program on Mondays, Tuesdays, or Fridays from 6 PM - 8 PM. Our current ESL teacher is headed to China to teach English - but she is willing to provide information about the curriculum and material to date.
